Meet Jon Maples
Fighting for Palm Beach County Families

Born and raised in Panama City, Florida, Jon grew up in a hardworking family where faith, discipline, and personal responsibility were part of everyday life. One of four boys, he spent summers working alongside his father in the family irrigation business, learning early lessons about responsibility, perseverance, and leadership.

From a young age, Jon set a goal of becoming the first person in his family to earn a college degree. Athletics helped create that opportunity. After excelling in football and basketball, he earned a basketball scholarship to Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he became a team captain and earned All-American honors.

His time at Palm Beach Atlantic University helped shape both his personal and professional future. In addition to developing leadership skills through athletics, it was there that Jon met his wife, Kristi. After graduation, the two chose to build their careers, raise their family, and establish deep roots in northern Palm Beach County.

Jon is a 20+ year resident of Palm Beach County. Over those years, he became involved in local organizations and community leadership initiatives focused on service and civic engagement.

As a financial planner, Jon spent years helping individuals and families prepare for the future and navigate important financial decisions. His professional background gave him firsthand experience working with families, business owners, and residents planning for long-term stability and economic security.

That experience continues to shape the practical, business-minded perspective Jon brings to public service today.

As a husband and father, Jon also believes strong communities begin with strong families. He continues to support efforts that encourage personal responsibility, civic engagement, leadership development, and opportunities for the next generation to succeed.

Today, Jon remains active throughout Palm Beach County, continuing conversations with residents across Florida House District 87 about the future of local communities and families.
